No matter what your political affiliation, as a Christian, everything you do, or say needs to be Christ-like. This is a non-negotiable. As Christians we need to hold ourselves to a higher standard than those who don’t love the Lord and called according to His purposes.

However, that doesn’t imply that we must put up with the lies and disinformation presented in the public forum. This is still the United States of America, and we have certain constitutional rights and liberties guaranteed by law. We have the unquestionable RIGHT to assemble to worship God as we choose. I for one will not sit idly by and watch this right in particular be trampled upon.

The same Jesus who told us that we should first and foremost Love God, and then neighbor as ourselves, also fashioned a whip and cleared the temple of those who would defile the sacred. I for one will continue standing for liberty and voicing my opposition to any who seeks to infringe upon our rights.

Though this forum is intended to facilitate religious discussions, I welcome all political debate here, as long as it seeks to defend our God-given rights. Any such discussions must be approached with Christian dignity, love and respect for one another.
